No One Dies Alone
Sitting with people approaching death in local hospitals, particularly when family or friends cannot be present.
Meditation Sans Frontières exists to cultivate and share contemplative, relational, and restorative ways of meeting life—with presence, compassion, and care.
Your generosity helps sustain this work and keeps its invitation open to others.
Generosity is not a transaction for belonging, wisdom, or love. It is one way we participate in the life of something we value.
Over time, this work has been sustained by individuals who recognize something of their own journey in it. Their benefactions—whether occasional gifts, continuing support, or other forms of practical help—make its continuation possible.
There is no expectation that anyone give beyond their means. Reading, listening, sharing a reflection, or simply allowing a moment of stillness into the day are themselves meaningful ways of participating.
What is offered in love
belongs to no one alone.
Support contributes to the ongoing work of the institute: writing and recording contemplative reflections, maintaining an accessible library of meditations and podcasts, developing educational resources, and nurturing possibilities for compassionate accompaniment and shared inquiry.
It also helps meet the ordinary costs behind the work—publishing, hosting, communication, and the time needed to make thoughtful offerings available.
Some initiatives, including Sanctuary Circle gatherings and the Laboratory's collaborative inquiries, remain emerging possibilities. We describe them honestly as work taking shape, not established programs already operating at scale.
Here are some of the ways this work is being lived and shared today. Some are direct acts of service; others are ongoing teaching, writing, and the development of the institute itself.

Teaching accessible breath practices to support calm, awareness, and connection with the body.
Accompanying people through grief, suffering, illness, and significant life transitions.
Writing and recording freely accessible reflections on healing, consciousness, grief, love, and the inner life.
Building an accessible home for contemplative practice, teaching, compassionate service, and restoration.
Responding to needs for compassionate presence through visits, conversations, telephone calls, and quiet companionship.
Your generosity helps sustain these ongoing commitments and the space to respond where care is needed.
